Less than a year after the war against the Protodeviln, Basara leaves Fire Bomber and journeys to the planet Zola. There, he crosses paths with Elma, a young girl and avid Fire Bomber fan. On this planet, Basara must again wield his Spiritia powers to halt an army of poachers and Elma's father, Graham, from slaughtering a group of space whales migrating through the system.
