Years ago, a man reunites the separated parents of a child. Businessman Kenan travels to a village to oversee a dam construction project. There, he falls in love with a local woman named Ayşe, marries her in an Islamic ceremony, and they have a son named Emrah. When Kenan's work is done, he decides to return to Istanbul, taking Emrah with him and leaving Ayşe behind. Years later, Emrah will bring his parents back together.
