Two million taels have been stolen from a chamber in the Forbidden City. The Empress demands the money back within ten days. Chief of Police Leng Tian-Ying is tasked with capturing the thieves, alive or dead, but Leng never takes anyone alive. Known for his ruthless killing of criminals, Leng finds his reputation being used against him as he hunts down the gang responsible for the heist.
