It's a film where the bad guys are wearing fancy murder gloves, the corporations are comically evil, and the plot is, well, it's trying its best. **What the 3 Points Are For** The production values ain't half bad. The film's visual aesthetic is slick, with a grim, neon-lit future that feels dangerous from the first frame. The CGI, especially the "deadly nano-virus" watches and the weaponised gloves, is executed with a polished sheen. It’s clear the budget went into creating a specific world, and on that front, it delivers. **Where It All Falls Apart** The problem is that once the world is set, there's nothing left to care about. The story is bland a corporate prison system releasing criminals to kill each other for freedom. You've seen it before. The acting doesn't feel like acting; it just feels like people saying their lines with no emotion. You can feel the cast going through the motions, seemingly as disinterested in the world as we are. **Harvey Keitel, What Happened?** Harvey Keitel must have been desperate to take this role. Here is an actor with a filmography of absolute legends *Reservoir Dogs*, *The Piano*, *Mean Streets* and in *Kill Code* he's reduced to rambling about nanotechnology like he's hosting the world's most unsettling TED Talk. Even his performance is bland. It must be the directing, as the rest of the cast, including Tyrese Gibson, are equally flat. **The Verdict** I only made it 45 minutes in, then I had to bail. It's a film that gets by on a shiny veneer, only to reveal a rotten core of a script.
