On a stormy night, a series of chilling, bloody events unfold. Engineer Wei Min and construction company CEO Mao ZhiHai mysteriously fall to their deaths. Detective Chief Chen Ting and his team are dispatched to investigate. Adding to the strangeness, the city committee had received an anonymous letter predicting Mao's death days before the incident. The committee urges Chen to solve the case swiftly. Soon after, construction company secretary Fang Pin, who had been acting strangely, also dies. The investigation leads to driver Li Bo, revealing more suspicious details. Meanwhile, Fang's son Fang Xiao Hua and Wei Min's sister, Wei Lian, who also works as an accountant in the company, come under police scrutiny. As the tangled case unravels, it exposes an insatiable desire that has claimed lives without mercy.
