Vincent Baumann, an insurance salesman and ruthless careerist, finds himself on the receiving end of the corporate machine he once served. Demoted to a lowly henchman, he fights to regain his footing in the job market and climb the social ladder. Along the way, Vincent discovers that there's more to life than income and success. He chooses to stand against his old beliefs and for Lisa Sokulowa, despite their uncertain future. Together, they score a small victory against the ruling system's dominance.
