Auf Wiedersehen, Franziska!

Passau, May 1957. Young artisan Franziska meets and falls in love with weekly reporter Stefan. After their first night together, he leaves for work at a New York agency, leaving Franziska alone at home. She struggles with Stefan's absence and eventually moves to Berlin, where she opens her own small studio for miniature toys. However, her new life proves more challenging than she expected. A year later, Stefan confesses his love for her.
