Ghost Month

A woman is pulled into a terrifying world of vengeful spirits. According to the Chinese calendar, the first seven months of the year are the days when the spirits of the dead open the gates of hell to mingle among the living. During this time, specific rituals must be followed to avoid becoming prey to the spirits of the damned. Upon arriving at a desert house, she encounters a highly superstitious young Chinese woman and her devoutly religious aunt. There, death sees an opportunity to reach out from the realm of the dead into the world of the living.
