At the film's outset, an assassination attempt unfolds at psychologist Tran Ngoc Tam's private clinic. Detective Sang is assigned to the case, tasked with unraveling the psychological motivations behind the crime. As his investigation progresses, another murder occurs: the assassination of Dr. Tam's secretary. With Tam's cooperation, Sang uncovers a drug trafficking and manufacturing network. Joining Sang in this special unit are Long, an anti-narcotics unit scout, and Hang Nga, a cabaret dancer.
