Dong-Goo works at a job placement agency and is threatened by gang members due to his debts. One day, he witnesses gang leader Ki-Chul being attacked by other gang members. Dong-Goo discovers a bankbook containing a billion won that Ki-Chul had hidden. Seeing an opportunity to change his life, Dong-Goo sets out to find Ae-Sook, his first love, who knows the PIN code. Ae-Sook is in a coma, so Dong-Goo meets her 10-year-old son Bok-Ki and his grandmother Geum-Soon. Dong-Goo decides to live with them, posing as Bok-Ki's father.
