A high-ranking army officer, a prostitute, a fraudulent doctor, and a drug smuggler, all former oppressors of the people, join a barge captained by a man named Ali. They aim to cross the water border, accompanied by a young worker seeking employment in Arab countries. Onboard, the worker develops feelings for the officer's daughter. Ali, the captain, maroons them on a deserted island. As the tide rises, they struggle to survive and return to the barge. A violent confrontation ensues between the passengers and the crew, resulting in multiple fatalities. The officer's daughter and the young worker are the sole survivors. Later, they reunite on a boat and, spotting the Iranian tricolor flag in the distance, realize they're heading home.
