The revolver changes hands multiple times, being used by various people in different situations. The first to use it are two criminals, Marcos and João, who, armed with the gun, attempt a robbery that goes awry. During their escape, pursued by the police, Marcos discards the revolver. Oscar, a sixty-year-old retired man entangled with a loan shark, finds the gun. Desperate and on the verge of losing his last possessions, Oscar uses the revolver, then gets rid of it. Carlos, an ambitious young man, and Vera, his girlfriend, come across the weapon. After meeting a wealthy couple seeking thrills, they're invited to a party. There, two crimes occur, and the gun is abandoned once more. The last to find it is Gugu, a police reporter who has been tracking the crimes. Looking to rid himself of his wife, Gugu plans the perfect crime, using the revolver once again.
