Charlie is the charismatic leader of Bold Native, a movement with chapters across the United States. Their mission is to save as many animals as possible, advocating for a future where animals are treated fairly and not considered property. The media labels Charlie and his allies as "terrorists" due to their disruption of thousands of slaughterhouses, university labs, major corporations, and the pharmaceutical industry. Randolph, Charlie's father and CEO of a multinational exploiting animals, becomes involved in his son's rescue when the FBI contacts him, seeking Charlie's whereabouts and informing him of his son's illegal activities.
