Zuri, a black woman, navigates the city amidst judgmental gazes and echoing memories. Clad in silence and pain, she struggles to maintain an image that protects her, yet also imprisons her. Among empty stages, smoky bars, and honest mirrors, her greatest challenge is recognizing herself beyond her mask. "Between Notes and Silence" is a poetic short film about identity, racism, and the liberation of seeing oneself whole.
