Being David Hasselhoff

David Hasselhoff began his career as a lifeguard before being cast in his first acting role in "The Young and the Restless". He later took on the lead role alongside a talking car in the series "Knight Rider". Hasselhoff then starred in the hit series "Baywatch". Upon learning that his song "Looking for Freedom" was topping the charts in Austria, he moved to Europe and quickly became an icon in German-speaking countries. Ironically, his signature song became an anthem for thousands of Germans calling for reunification during the fall of the Berlin Wall.
