Anna Lee, a spirited and determined young woman, leaves her police job in pursuit of adventure. She joins a small, somewhat conservative detective agency, where her fashion sense and relaxed attitude towards rules raise eyebrows. Despite initial reservations, the agency's owner takes a liking to her and assigns her to find a missing girl, a case that seems simple at first. However, Anna soon discovers that the girl's disappearance hides a much deeper mystery.
