Almost Normal

Brad Jenkins, a 40-year-old gay university professor, feels unfulfilled with his life. He is suddenly transported back in time to his youth, where being gay is the norm and heterosexuality is not accepted. Brad must choose between staying in the past and being "normal" or returning to his old life. A local athlete, who previously ignored him, now has a romantic relationship with him. However, Brad finds himself attracted to a woman: his brother's wife in the heteronormative world. In the end, everyone dances with someone of the opposite sex at the prom, even in this homonormative world. Brad decides to return to his life as a professor, but is shaken by the homophobic rhetoric on television.
