Ching is going through a midlife crisis, exacerbated by her husband's affair with a younger woman. Her brother seems to have fewer problems, but his obsession with beauty is causing strain in his marriage to a model who is beginning to age. Both siblings have a strained relationship with their father. Dark humor and fantasy punctuate this grim portrait of the family.
