In 1977, the International Women's Day was established, inspiring both the title and concept of Luan Santana's latest release. This album features duets with special guests Ivete Sangalo, Sandy, Marília Mendonça, Anitta, Ana Carolina, and actress Camila Queiroz. For this project, Luan Santana ventured beyond sertanejo, blending various musical styles and genres. The album was recorded in two settings: (i) in the studio of renowned producer Dudu Borges and (ii) in Paulínia, in a studio with a beautiful scenic composition for the audiovisual recording. The tracklist consists of original compositions, many written by Luan Santana himself, showcasing his growing prowess as a songwriter. '1977' pays tribute to women, interspersing live performances by the artist with footage of the project's creation process.
