"Upon his death, the protagonist's father requested that a tree be planted in his urn. Following his father's wishes, Eugene plants a tree in the urn, and to his surprise, the tree begins to exhibit his father's personality. Despite being a tree, the father remains talkative and can be quite annoying, but over time, Eugene learns to live with and care for the tree. One day, while out for a walk with the tree, they encounter a man carrying a similar tree. The tree, now fully embodying its former human self, strikes up a conversation with the man: 'Isn't the weather lovely today?'"
