Puppet Prince

Master Mi admires her senior, Fei He, and together they develop the "Perfect Puppet". Fei He disappears, taking the puppet with him. Mi encounters a man in the city lord's mansion with Fei He's signature mark, but doesn't see his face. The man is Fei He's puppet, controlled by the powerful minister, Jiang Xiang, who uses it to rule the city in place of the real city lord, Ji Ye Chen. Ji Ye Chen is colorblind, but sees Mi in color, finding it intriguing. To find Fei He, Mi infiltrates the mansion, mistakenly thinking Ji Ye Chen is the city lord's bodyguard. She forces a sworn brotherhood to extract information. They're drawn into strange events, growing fond of each other. Ji Ye Chen feels his heart race for Mi and questions the truth about the puppet. Jiang Xiang wants Mi eliminated. Mi believes Ji Ye Chen killed Fei He and attempts to assassinate him, only to discover Ji Ye Chen is the "Great Protector". Jiang Xiang pursues them, and they fall into an underground palace, finding Fei He and the real city lord trapped. Their fates and feelings face unexpected twists and challenges.
