A series showing the Polish countryside during the German occupation in an original, rhetoric-free way. The film debunks the legend of folk patriotism. It rejects Polish stereotypes about war heroism, sacrifice and sacrifice. It is a record of the state of consciousness "scarred by war", the drama of lost people who are sinking into ever greater decay.
