The 34th Golden Melody Awards, organized by the Ministry of Culture's Film and Pop Music Industry Bureau, will take place on July 1, 2023, at the Taipei Arena. The organizing unit announced this on March 2, 2023. The nominee announcement press conference will be held on May 16, 2023. Hong Peiyun's album "Ming Shi" is nominated for eight awards, including Album of the Year, Best Mandarin Album, and Best New Artist. Xu Jiayin's "Gei" and Wu Qingfeng's "Ma La Mei de Xingqi Er" follow with seven nominations each.
