Florence was the champion for Star Search Competition, attaining the title Star Search Winner & Miss Photogenic, organized by Singapore MediaCorp Studios in 1997. She is widely known for her roles in dramas such as The Return of the Condor Heroes 神雕侠侣 (1998) and Immortal Love不老传说 (1997).
